Darlene was one of the kindest most genuine women I have ever met. She loved Jesus and helped all those who she met to see her savior through her amazing sweet ways. I am heart broken to hear of her passing. I know we shall see her again. Prayers for Ted, Jenny, and family.

Growing up outside of Asbury everyone was close, and we were also related. So sorry for the loss of a wonderful mother, sister, daughter. God gave us a wonderful thing and they are memories. Keep them close during this time. Love from the Seifert family (Bernice, Ralph, Mark, Debbie Smith and Jerry Smith)

Darlene was one of my close friends all through high school. I have missed her as our life paths have taken us in different directions . I have so many fond memories of our days as candy stripers at Hunterdon Medical Center, our overnight adventures and most of all, our heart to heart talks. The world has lost her too soon but our memories live on. My thoughts to her family.

As I read some of the other comments, here, from Darlenes friends I was assured that Darlene is the same person I knew way back in our high school days ... kind, gentle, pleasant & caring. Im so very saddened that her life here on earth has been cut short, but I feel certain that she has been called to a very special assignment in heaven, reserved for the best of Gods children.

"For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Phil. 1:21). Darlene said it all in her last news letter. Such a lovely sister in the Lord and dear friend.

The day I met Darlene was one of the best days of my life. She was caring and loving and she was able to help me in so many ways. She was a great teacher and I sat in her classes for many years. I love Darlene for the way she loved her Savior Jesus and she was a great testimony of his love. When she met her maker I know he said,"Well done my faithful servant!" She loved her daughter Jen and her husband Ted, along with her grandsons with all her heart! One day I will see you again in heaven sweet lady!

Darlene was a beautiful lady inside and out. She loved Jesus and reflected his light wherever she went. She cared about so many people and their health and spiritual condition. She was an employer, friend and guide for 18 years. She will be truly missed but now I know she is "walking in Sonshine!"
