Donald Robert Nelson

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL, for 13 years, moving from Miami, after retiring as a small business owner. Don Proudly served his country in the Army.

Don loved golf and the Florida Lifestyle, but not more than his family. He proudly smiled as he watched his kids grow into successful citizens and his grandchildren gather around him for loving hugs.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Marie Nelson of Port St. Lucie, FL; children, Ronni (Joe) Banks, Indianan, Diane (Joe) Dube, New Hampshire, Richard (Leslie) Nelson of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Sandra Tasch and Suzanne Wabuda of Hobart, IN, daughter-in-law, Michelle Lee Berger of Port St. Lucie, FL; fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard (Tina) Palmer of Ocala, FL, Bill (Mary) Nelson of NY, and sister Georgette (Bill) Moore of Palm City, FL. Don was preceded in death by his son, Scott Berger and one daughter, Denise Berger-Evans.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 4:00PM – 7:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL.
