Eduardo Parra

Eduardo Parra Matiz was born in a small town called Baraya-Huila, Colombia in South America, and raised in Bogota, Colombia. One of eight children born to Hernando Parra Pulido and Flaxila Matiz, his legacy lives on through his loving wife, his seven children and a big extended family.

Eduardo grew up in Bogota, Colombia where he completed his AA in Business Administrator from the Universidad Central de Colombia.

In 1979, he moved to the U.S. where he settled in Illinois and pursued his passion for cars. He completed many technical courses on automotive mechanics and started his family.

In 1986, as he was following his love for the tropics, beaches, and beautiful weather. Eduardo and his family, made the decision to move to Florida, settling in the Broward area, where his kids grew up in the place they now call home.

By 2000, Eduardo remarried and found the place he had been searching for all along, Port Saint Lucie, Florida where he touched so many people's lives and created endless friendships. He was very loved within the Port Saint Lucie community and he will be sorely missed by his friends and clients.

Rossana and Eduardo’s kids would like to extend their gratitude to all those who expressed their support, kindness and loving expressions of condolences. All of these actions have touched us and helped us through this difficult time.
