

Born in Puerto Rico, Mrs. Gonzalez was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 16 years, moving from Brooklyn, NY.
Prior to retirement Eligia was a seamstress.
She was a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. In Brooklyn, NY she was a member of Our Lady of Montserrat, and a member of the Schoenstatt Movement.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Concepcion Gonzalez of Port St. Lucie, Fl; one daughter Maria Caussade and husband Edward of Port St. Lucie, FL; one son, Angel M. Figueroa, Sr. and wife Patricia of New York; seven grandchildren, Edward Caussade, Gabriel Caussade, John Castellano, Jimmy Castellano , Joseph Figueroa, Jerry Figueroa, Angel Figueroa; great-grandchildren Marcus Caussade; and two brothers Serafin and Daniel Carraballo.
Eligia was preceded in death by a sister Ernesta Caraballo and four brothers Roberto, Samuel, Eloido and Sanhago.

A Funeral Mass will be Friday, June 10, 2011, 9:30AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. Interment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL
