Fred McAllister Pike, 75 of Port Saint Lucie, FL, passed away peacefully September 15, 2018 with his family by his side after a lifelong battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Our loving husband, father, neighbor and friend was born in Quitman, Georgia and is survived by the love of his life, wife Gayle Thompson of Fort Walton Bch, FL, his two children and their spouses, daughter Stephanie Lanza and husband Chris and son Michael Manasco and wife Rachael and his two grandchildren who deeply adored him, Matthew and Bradley Lanza and his sister, Sara Jo Hazen of Dade City, FL, and cousin Beth Acheson of Jacksonville Beach, FL.
Fred worked in the Jewelry Industry, Hospital Public Relations and was also a Career Counselor at Miami Southridge Senior High School. Fred loved animals, gardening, antiques and art.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 S.E. Floresta Drive, Port Saint Lucie, FL. In lieu of flowers please donate to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, www.parkinson.org
