

Born in Sioux City, IA, she was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL since 1999, moving from Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Mrs. Mamer was an Elementary School Teacher at Parkway Elementary School, Port St. Lucie, FL for the past 12 years. Prior to that time, she was a teacher in Palm Beach County for 5 years.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents Jean & Evonne Larson and a sister Suzanne Christine Larson.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, James L. Mamer of Port St. Lucie, FL; three daughters, Jeana Christine Mamer of Los Angeles, CA, Jaimee Gayle Mamer Rosentha1 and husband Scott of Cleveland, OH, Justine Lacey Mamer of Port St. Lucie,FL; two sisters, Barbara Ricenbaw of Denver, CO, Saundra Larson of Sioux City, IA
Mrs. Mamer was an avid cyclist, participating in several marathons to benefit Multiple Sclerosis. She also taught children to swim, saying that a child who can swim is a life saved.
Friends and family may call Sunday, January 16, 2011, from 2:00PM-5:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL. Services will be private.
