Glen David Junco, born on September 9, 1957, in Wahiawa, Hawaii passed away on December 20, 2016, at his home in Port St. Lucie, Florida, the town he called home for over twenty-five years. It was often said, “Glen never met a stranger,” and while he was certainly known for his outgoing, larger than life personality, his entrepreneurial spirit – once owning businesses such as Treasure Coast Catering and The Lawnmower Man - and his passion for the culinary arts, nothing meant more to him than Ohana and spending time with those he loved.
Glen was predeceased by his father, Flores “Junior” Sanchez, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Sanchez; and his wife of thirteen years, Doreen Hunter; and his children, Jason (Dana) Bowers and grandchildren, Sofia and Cooper, all of Lakeland, Florida, Amanda (Ryan) Platt and grandchildren, Doss and Andie, Nanette (Rodger) Richards and granddaughter Meredith, all of Port St. Lucie, and Andy Hunter of Washington, D.C.; and his siblings, Marcella (Roger) Junco of Castleton, New York, Lorna (Dennis) Gaxiola of El Sobrante, California and Lori (Don) Gaxiola of Hercules, California.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
