Gregory Geard Dryjanski was born February 24th, 1953 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 24th, 2013. He was 60 years old and recently resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Gregg is preceded in death by his parents, Angie and Walter Dryjanski. He is survived by his wife Brenda,(her two children Kathleen and Michael) Greggs son’s Michael and Brian(Laura), daughter India and his siblings, Dennis, Ray, Janet, and Geri. Gregg grew up in the Chicago area, attending Prospect High School participating in multiple sports and clubs. Most recently, Gregg lived in Florida for the last 17 years, residing in Delray Beach and Port St. Lucie. Since arriving in Florida, Gregg worked at House of Appliance as an appliance salesman, carrying on his love for working with and helping people achieve their goals.
For any of those who were lucky enough to know Gregg, knew him to be outgoing, selfless, and someone who loved to have a great time. You could always hear him yelling during sporting events louder than anyone else and even giving much of his time to help coach youth athletics, helping these young athletes learn how to hit this famous knuckleball. Also, if you were hungry on the weekend, you can be assured that Gregg would be BBQing his amazing chicken, burgers, and steaks and that everyone was invited.
Gregg was also the consummate giver of his time and help to anyone who needed it. Most of the time he would offer his help before he was even asked as he had a great sense of what people needed whether it was a hug, money, or just reassurance that God is there for them. Gregg was also a true believer of Jesus in every sense of the word and he lived his life as such. He lifted up his family and friends on a daily basis in prayer and was always there to remind people that God loves them and so did he. He did the little things, such as texting or emailing daily Bible verses for the times you might need to be lifted up and he was not able to be there. Gregg truly “lived out loud” for what he believed in and anyone who came into contact with him knew where his heart truly lied.
There will be a celebration of Gregg’s life on Saturday Nov. 2nd starting with a visitation from 9:00am to 10:00am and a service and reception to follow. This will be taking place at Morning Side Church in Port St. Lucie, FL located at: 2180 SE Morningside Blvd, St. Lucie, FL 34952
