

Guilio Misitano, 83, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away September 23, 2016. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and moved to Florida from East Longmeadow, Massachusetts 13 years ago. He had been residing in Florida as a snowbird since the early 1980’s.
Guilio was active in the Jaycee’s in East Longmeadow, along with the Lion’s Club. He was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Massachusetts. In Port St. Lucie, he was active in the Elk’s Lodge. Guilio worked as a pattern and mold maker and worked in sales in the same field. He owned and operated B and M Marketing, a pattern and mold company. Guilio enjoyed sailing, skiing, and golfing. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and Boston Red Sox fan. At Camelot Gardens, he was known to be the go to guy because he would lend a helping hand to anybody. He loved and cherished time with his family.
Guilio was preceded in death by his brother, Santi Misitano.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Barbara Misitano; son, David Misitano (Cassandra), of Portland, Oregon; daughters, Brenda Misitano, of Vero Beach, Florida, Patricia Morin (James), of Middleton, Massachusetts, and Julie Ratay (Gary), of Fairview Heights, Illinois; grandson, Jeffrey Morin; sisters, Frances Smith, of East Longmeadow and Agnes Meredith, of Springfield, Massachusetts; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation from 4-6 pm on Monday September 26, 2016 at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday September 27, 2016 at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. Committal will follow at Fernhill Memorial Garden in Stuart, Florida.
