Harold Leonard Krevolin who was a resident of Saint Lucie West for 18 years, died in Fort Pierce, Florida on September 23rd at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Sandra Krevolin (Florida), his son Andrew J. Krevolin, his daughter in law Sarah Krevolin, his grandson Jack S. Krevolin (Mississippi),his daughter Roree M. Warnke and his son in law Matthew C. Warnke (New York), his sister
Shirley Levin (Arizona) and his niece and nephews. A first generation American, Harold was born on November 20, 1934 in New Haven, CT. He received his Bachelors from New Haven State Teachers College and his Masters and Doctorate from Columbia University in Art Education and Fine Arts. He married the love of his life Sandra L. Krevolin on December 22nd 1963 in Waterbury, CT. They spent most of their marriage in Old Greenwich, CT and retired to Port Saint Lucie, FL. Harold was a teacher in New Haven, on staff at Southern Connecticut State College, a Professor of Fine Arts at William Paterson College and worked for the Greenwich Public School system for over 30 years as the Board of Education Art and Music Coordinator and in the years leading to his retirement as an Art Teacher. Harold was a modern artist who enjoyed using black ink on canvas and paper. His love for art shaped the way he saw the world. He had two art shows at Galleries in New York, NY. He was a figural bottle collector. He enjoyed show tunes, classical music, painting and spending time with his wife, children and grandson.
