Born in Girardville, PA, Helen was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 20 years, moving from Lauderdale, FL.
During WWII, she served as a Captain in the US Army Nursing Corps
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Drake Co-owned Rob’t Drake Clothing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL ; Highlands N.C. and Vero Beach, FL for 45 years.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas O. Drake and his wife Linda of Orlando, FL, James C. Drake and his wife Susan of Royal Palm Beach, FL; and four grandchildren Ted, Jim, Peter and Brian Drake.
Services will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
