

He was born in Alausi, Ecuador. He was a dual resident of Stamford, CT and Port St. Lucie for the past nine years coming from Ecuador.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, George Ribadeneira and Goering Ribadeneira.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Luz Ribadeneira; six daughters, Cynthia Russo and her husband Jason, Marilynn Ribadeneira, Geomar Cuesta and her husband Alfonso, Sandra Torres and her husband Paco, Margarita Cuesta, Galut Sevilla; five sons, Homero A. Ribadeneira, Franklin Ribadeneira and his wife Maria Mercedes, John Ribadeneria and his wife Maria Antonieta, Homero F. Ribadeneira and his wife Maria Luisa, Edison Ribadeneira and his wife Carmita; eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm – 9:00pm, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 6, 2017 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. Entombment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.
