John has been a special friend of mind for over 30 years. Our bond grew closer and closer over the years. We use to make Mary Ellen shake her head when we got together. She would say you guys will solve all the world problems. John always tried to be sure all holiday affairs at the Post Office were an enjoyment for eveyone.. I'm going to miss you big time brother. But you will live forever in my thoughts.

I have very fond memories of growing up with my uncle John and Aunt Mary Ellen. Uncle John will be missed will always think of you

So my Uncle John LOVED his cars! I remember when we lived in New York City and u and Aunt Mary Ellen would come over and visit, u used to spend almost the whole visit sitting by the window in case ur car got stolen!! Lol. Also Michael loved swapping cop stories with u! We love and will miss u terribly. Luv u always Catherine Ellen and Michael

John and Mary Ellen became clients of ours soon after they moved to Port St. Lucie.  Always with a smile, John would proudly announce that he was a retired New York City police officer.   And he reminded us that he was happy to be away from the hustle and bustle and snow and ice of the City, enjoying the year-round sunshine of South Florida.
In 2015 fate (the Crosstown Parkway Project) brought us together as next door neighbors.  WheneverJohn or I needed advice on a "fix-it" issue, the conversation would quickly turn to discussion of our previous "hot rod" days of the '50s and '60s.  Hours would be spent with each of us bragging over those glorious cars of days gone by...a '57 Chevy or an Olds 442...a Dodge Polara or an Olds Holiday Super 88...and the list went on and on.
Tools were traded, advice exchanged, and projects shared, all with wonderful memories of our younger days.  Two ageing men, one from New York, the other from Florida, sharing the common joys of having lived in "the best of times".
Thank you John, for the memories, the friendship, and may you forever rest in peace, enjoying the deep exhaust rumble of a V8 engine.

OK! John I know your laughing at me because I forgot to  sign my memory message. Well I'll do that now so you can stop which I know is hard for you once you start laughing you don't stop(lol). John please give my HoneyBun a hug for me. I miss you both.

John was my Brother-in-law, friend, and sometimes he thought he was my father(lol).  Tony always said he was his Buddy. He misses him very much already.  John was best man when Tony and I got married. We always had fun together.  We will always love him.

John is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Ellen Corsello, Christina (Wayne) Vasile, Donna (Eric) Corsello Reaver. His loving Grandchildren Ashley Corsello, Brittany Moore, Joseph Vasile, Peyton Mangine, Nathaniel Reaver, and his Great Grandson Seth Vasile.
