What special and fun memories I have of the Gray, Nauss, Goulet and my family.  We had such wonderful times together.
Seeing you on Sunday was special and  hopefully it was comforting to know others share your grief.

John and I attended Daniel Hand High School together in Madison, CT.  I am very saddened to hear of his passing.  My deepest sympathy is extended to his family.

I'm so, so sorry to hear of Johnny's passing and I send Gail, Stephanie and his children my heart felt sympathies and love.  As my father said, so many fun and wonderful memories between our families growing up.  As such, Johnny was one of my first and closest best friends. He was a genuine and really good person.  He was incredibly fun and funny, we had so many countless laughs over the years. He inherited those wonderful traits from his father “Jack” who I also thought the world of and who I know Johnny is thrilled to be re-united with in Heaven.  Johnny was also an incredibly gifted athlete... extremely quick and probably the fastest runner I ever knew… and what a skier... fearless.  We had so many adventures together as kids and always finding mischief together as only kids can.  Whether in our houses, around our neighborhoods, in the woods, at the beach or at his ski house in Vermont, NEVER a boring moment... He was such a live wire of energy always jumping, diving and running around.  I could go on and on about one of my all time favorite friends.  May God Bless Johnny Gray and I look forward to resuming our adventures when we meet again!

I grew up with Johnny most of my younger years as we were neighbors and I am very dear friends of his sister Gail and Stephanie. I am so sorry to hear of his death. My thoughts are with Gail, Stephanie and his two surviving children.

I knew Johnny thru my old boyfriend from Madison,CT, He was such a blast to hang with...RIP, you deserve it John!

This sad event of life, losing John, cannot overshadow the loving contributions  the Gray Family made to Madison CT. I forever cherish the many years of friendship between the Nauss and Gray families. There were countless spirited events of life with the maturing of the children (and moms and dads), including Madison neighbors.  I extend my sincere condolences and admiration to Gail, Stephanie, and John's family.

Johnny and I were great friends growing up as neighbors.  Our families were extremely close and it with great sadness to learn of his death. Peace be with you Johnny. My heart goes out to his entire family and extended friends.

Nothing but good memories of times with Johnny.  You are in our prayers.

John was my next door neighbor and best friend growing up on Island Avenue in Madison.  I learned of John's death on the eve of the birth of my first child and son Brendan. It was truly a day of joy and sadness.  I named my son Brendan in honor of another best friend of mine.  My brother Brendan returned home to the Lord 27 years ago at age 27. I know Johnny is with Brendan now in heaven looking down on us all.
