John was born in Newark, NJ. He has been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past 7 years, moving here from Dingmans Ferry, PA. Prior to retirement, he had worked as a forklift operator for Drakes Bakeries in Wayne, NJ for 40 years. John loved fishing and hunting.
John is survived by his wife of 31 years, Shirley; children Joyce Howard of NJ, Leslie Howard of NJ, Samuel “John” Howard of NJ, Linda Mariano of MA, Raymond Crispino of NJ, Gerald Crispino of WV, Susan Thomas of NJ, and Karen DiPaolo of NJ; sister Denise Page of Plainfield, NJ; 20 grandchildren;10 great grandchildren; and his best friend Orie.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 30, 2011 at The First Baptist Church, 4500 South 25th Street, Ft. Pierce, FL 34981.
