John V. Scarangella

John was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Port St Lucie 23 years ago, coming from North Babylon, NY. Before retiring he worked at Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, NY and Stuart. He also was a driver for United Refrigeration in Port St Lucie, FL.

John was a member of the Knights of Columbus in New York and was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane Scarangella of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons Kenneth Scarangella of Kilgore, TX and John A. Scarangella of Hermitage, TN; daughter, Sandra Gallway of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother Frank Scarangella of Levittown, NY; sister Mary Ann Curry of Levittown, NY and three grandsons, Patrick Gallway, and Joshua and Jordan Scarangella.

He is predeceased by his brothers James and Peter Scarangella.

A viewing will be held at Aycock Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie on Tuesday, April 19th from 2:00 to 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 4:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 20th at St. Lucie Catholic Church at 11:00 am.
