Born in Micaville, North Carolina, she moved to Port St Lucie 19 years ago coming from Miami, Florida.
She was a homemaker.
Juanita was a member of the Coral Way United Methodist Church in Miami and sang in the choir for many years. She was also a former member and officer of the Miami Garden Club and a Girl Scout troop leader.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Cooper, of Stuart, FL, Sharon Howard of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons Kenneth and Gary Russell of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Betty Cooper of Inverness, FL; brother, Marshall McMahan of Gainesville, GA; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Aycock Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, FL. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10:00 am
at All Saints Cemetery in Jensen Beach, FL.
