Born in Hempstead, NY, she was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL since 1977, moving from Cocoa, FL.
Laverne was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Ernest Kruse of Port St. Lucie, FL; three sons, Ernest Kruse, Jr. of Ft. Pierce, FL, Chris Kruse and wife Deena of Port St. Lucie, FL, David Kruse and wife Amy of Port St. Lucie, FL; one sister, Laurie Constantine of Carrollton, GA; four brothers, Joe Constantine and wife Rickie of Ft. Pierce, FL, Al Constantine, Bruce Constantine and Ralph Constantine and wife Grace, all of NY; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by one sister Patricia Constantine.
