Linda Ann Sorel

Born in Derby, CT, Linda was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL since 1998, moving from Laytonsville, MD.

Prior to retirement, Linda worked as an administrative assistant for Sikorsky Helicopter in Stratford, CT, that McDonell Douglas in St. Louis, MO and then Lockeed Martin in MD for a total of 30 years.

She was a member of St. James Russian Orthodox Church of Port St. Lucie, FL. Mrs. Sorel was also very active and a co-founder of the Treasure Coast Decorating Painters in Port St. Lucie, FL. She was also a member of the National Society of Decorative Painters. She was a member of the PGA Country Club.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Don Sorel of Port St. Lucie, FL; one son, Scott Sorel and his wife Barb of St. Louis, MO; one daughter Donna Knox and husband Steve of St. Louis, MO; two grandchildren, Nick and Sarah Sorel; and one brother, Peter Stelma, Jr. and wife Andrea of Middletown, CT.

A Memorial Service will be Monday, November 19, 2012, 2:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Ft. Pierce, FL.
