

Lucinda was born in Utica , New York and was raised in Turin, New York. She has been a resident in Florida for 33 years.
Cindy worked in advertising for many years. She was an Advertising Manager for The Palm Beach Post and Market Manager for Patrick Stracuzzi ReMax Real Estate. In high school she was editor of her yearbook.
Lucinda enjoyed skiing, swimming, and riding on her husband's Harley Motorcycle. She was an avid gardener , known for her pineapples that she had home grown. Cindy loved to entertain and planned great parties for her friends and family. Her smile was known to light up the room as she will be remembered for her kindness and her endearing personality. She was always thinking of others before herself, and took great joy in putting a smile on others faces. In her spare time Cindy enjoyed listening to Jimmy Buffet Music, and cherished being able to attend his concerts.
Lucinda was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Simpson; father, Stanley Evans; brother, William John Evans; and grandmother, Helen Kelly.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Bratcher; mother, Nancy Evans, of Lowville, New York; brothers, Bruce Michael Evans, of Watertown, New York and Daniel Robert Evans, of Chadsford, Pennsylvania; daughter, Amanda Ann Simpson, of Orlando, Florida; step daughters, Logen Bratcher and Courtney Callis, both of Bedford, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jadelyn, Josslinn, and Avery; sister-in-law, Ann Downard; and mother-in-law Betsy Bratcher.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Cindy's honor to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road Fort Pierce, Florida 34981.
