Marion Grillon St. Germain, a source of unwavering love and support, passed away peacefully at her home on August 24, 2025, at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joseph and Ana Grillon, and her husband, Douglas R. St. Germain.
Marion is survived by her brother, Joseph Grillon ,her son, Mark St. Germain (Priscilla), and her daughter, Mary Ann Ayra (Roberto). She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren: Jacklyn Santos (James), Rafael Santos, Roberto Ayra (Amber), and David Ayra, and a doting great-grandmother to Joshua, Mariana, Winry, and Mordecai. Beyond her immediate family, she was blessed with a rich interwoven extended family primarily from Connecticut.
Marion was a light in the lives of all who knew her. Her warm smile had the remarkable ability to light up any room, and her infectious spirit made every gathering more joyful. Known for her comforting words, she would often reassure those facing challenges with her gentle reminder, "Don't worry, things will work out." Her compassion extended far and wide; she prayed for anyone in need, whether they were friends, family, or strangers touched by tragedy.
Family was the heart of Marion's life. She selflessly prioritized her loved ones, even taking an extended leave of absence from her position at St. Vincent's Medical Center when she had her children to ensure her family was cared for. Her commitment to her family was matched only by her devotion to her faith. An active member of St. Lucie Catholic Church, Marion was involved with the Council of Catholic Women (CCW) as well as an Eucharistic Minister, where she found joy in serving others and lifting their burdens through prayer.
Marion's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering support. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. In honoring her memory, let us carry forward her spirit of compassion and her belief in the power of love and prayer.
