

Born in Jamaica, West Indies, Mike was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 6 years, moving from Apopka, FL.
Prior to retirement, he owned and operated Exotic Tropicals Nursery from 1985-2006 in Apopka, FL.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Port St. Lucie, FL, where he served as an Usher. He was also a member of the Botanical Society, Port St. Lucie Orchid Society, Caribbean American Cultural Group of Port St. Lucie and the Rare Fruit Club of Lake County, FL.
Michael was preceded in death by a sister, Olga Jenkins.
Survivors include his wife, Drucella “Dottie” Bond of Port St. Lucie, FL; one son, Lincoln Bond and his wife Denise of Bronx, NY; one daughter, Paula and her husband Dr. James King, III of Upper Marlboro, MD; four grandchildren Maya Bond, Julian Bond, Cherelle Fleming, Jada King; and one sister, Beryl Anderson of Miramar, FL.
A Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 20, 2013, 11:00AM at the First United Methodist Church, Port St. Lucie, FL, with interment following at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL.
