Mike was the real thing, professional, smart, and courteous ( and a fun guy) . For the 40 years we were in business we always felt safe and he truly cared. He is one to emulate in this complex profession. Mike will be missed.

Dearest Sherry,
It is with deepest sorrow that we share memories of a lost brother and dear friend. I feel blessed that I was given the privilege to participate in many wonderful memories with Mike through our years as "Brothers in Blue". We can all stand tall from his shared lessons of life that he left as footprints in the sand to follow. He will always be thought of as a "Good Guy".
Love Always,
Ralph and Debra Severini

Sherry, growing up in Barnegat we all knew each other . We also knew the police officers and they knew us. Mike helped us out more than once . This is when police officers helped kids stay on the right path. I think some still do but Mike embodied that spirit . He was always helping people. All around great guy. Our sincere condolences from the Bockin Family

Sherry,
We are so sorry that Michael was taken so early in his life. He was a good friend and a brother at work for over twenty years. Michael was always fun to be around even during our most intense investigations, his stories always kept us laughing. Michael always loved his job, even after he retired, he would always speak well of the old days. Both Melody and I loved listening to him and his stories. We will miss 259.
