

Born in Ridgway, PA, Nora was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 33 years, moving from Kersey, PA.
Before retirement, Nora was an elementary and remedial reading teacher with the St. Mary’s Area School District in Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Carpin’s husband, Thomas A. Carpin, Superintendent of Schools, St. Mary’s Area School District, PA, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Brent Carpin and his wife, Beverly of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Jeffrey Carpin and his wife Shirley of Frisco, TX, Christopher Carpin and his wife Kimberly of Erie, PA, Kathleen Walsh and her husband Rob of Vero Beach, FL; step-grandchildren Christina (Michael) Lozano and Michael Carpin, both of Erie, PA. Survivors also include great-grandchildren Amanda, Christopher, Charles, Allison, Michael, Daniel, Nicholas, and step-great grandchildren Jacob and Olivia.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 3, 2011, from 2:00PM -4:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL. A Prayer Service will be recited at 4PM at the Funeral Home.
Services and Burial will be in Erie, PA under the direction of Francis V. Klocker Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Leukemia Society of America.
