

Paul Kevin Parks 57, of Vero Beach, Florida, left us to be with the Lord on June 18, 2012. Born October 11, 1954 in Colon, Republic of Panama, Paul was the son of the late Charles Arthur Parks and Anne Marie (Trimble) Parks. He was raised in the Canal Zone and graduated from Balboa High School in the 1973. He apprenticed in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Division of the Panama Canal Company and spent 20 years working for the Industrial Unit at the Chill Water Plant in Balboa, Canal Zone. Following his return to the United States he worked for various HVAC companies until an automobile accident in 1995 forced him to retool his career. He spent the past 11 years as a Maintenance Director for various Retirement Communities in both Arizona and Florida. An avid amateur photographer, he also enjoyed golfing and diving. He had a passion for cooking and was especially known for his “Pablo’s Ceviche.” Paul is survived by his son, Brett Anthony Phillips of Trenton, New Jersey; his mother, Anne M. Parks of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers and sisters, James and Christina Parks of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Craig and Lisa Boatwright of Phoenix, Arizona, Larry and Judy Parks of Phoenix, Arizona, Matthew and Heike Parks of Mesa, Arizona, Manuel and Susan Casis of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Charles and Dana Parks of St. Paul Park, Minnesota; as well as 18 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews. Paul was well loved and will be remembered forever. He will be laid to rest with his father at Sunland Memorial Cemetery, Sun City, Arizona at 10 AM July 30, 2012 followed by a memorial service for family and friends at The Palms of El Mirage, 16101 N El Mirage Road, El MIrage, Arizona, 85335.
