

Born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, she had previously lived in The Bronx before moving to the Port St. Lucie area in 2004. Before retiring, Ms. Thompson had worked in the supermarket business as an administrative assistant.
She was very active in her church, Open Door Apostolic in Fort Pierce where she touched many people with her kind spirit. Ms. Thompson loved to shop. She also enjoyed her local community center where she tried her hand successfully at pottery, and loved to Zumba, as well as hit the gym. Ms. Thompson will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Samuda of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Dianne Adlam of New York; sisters, Melvina, Erna, Viola, Maxine, Patricia, Reva, Winsome, and Lorma; brothers, Cecil and Lloyd; grandchildren, Javon, Nyandra, Ayana, and Mona Lisa; great grandchildren, Christopher, Javiah, and Jaylen; sisters in law, Olive and Cathy; brothers in law, Vincent, and Noel; a very special friend, Jennifer and lots of nieces, nephews , and many more friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 10:00-11:00am at Open Door Apostolic in Fort Pierce with a funeral service to begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.
