Rita Hardy

Born in Sanford, ME to Archie and Blanche Lessard, she resided in Claremont NH for most of her life, until retiring to Florida. Rita has been a resident of Port St Lucie, FL for many years and during this time she was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Roger Joseph Hardy. They were a loving devoted couple who would have celebrated 73 years of marriage this year. They have 3 daughters, Simone Johnson, of Claremont NH; Claire Carter of Worcester, MA; and Sheila Satzow, and her husband, Michael, of Claremont NH. They also have several grandchildren, Shawn Dixon and his wife, Kimberly, of Meredith NH, and their children, Tyler and Chloe; Danielle Maryott and her husband, Andrew, of Easton CT and their sons, Gavin and Brennan; Roger Limoges and his partner, Jeffrey McDermott, Washington DC; Nicole Bertrand, of Charlton, MA, and her daughter, Jovanna; and Shane Johnson, and his son, Cameron, of West Palm Beach, FL. Also surviving is her loving twin brother, Raymond Lessard and his wife, Nancy, from Vero Beach, FL, were with her during her last days. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Roland Lessard and Richard Lessard, both of Claremont, NH.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, February 6, 2016, 11AM at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL.
