Robert Leo Golden Sr.

He was born on April 11, 1937, in Teaneck NJ. He was the first son of the late Riley and Helen Golden.

Robert dedicated much of his life to ministering to others through service, compassion and faith. In 2006 Robert was ordained as a Deacon. During his time as a Deacon at Holy Family Catholic Church he played a vital role in the Welcome Home Ministry for returning Catholics, as well as in Theology of the Body and Marriage Preparation programs with his late wife, Patricia Golden. Robert helped guide countless individuals and couples on their spiritual and religious journeys.

Outside of his religious services, Robert lived a life with great passion and curiosity. In his professional life he was a Realtor in Saint Lucie and Martin Counties.

He enjoyed playing and watching golf, building fountains from enameled copper, traveling and cooking. Robert also had a deep love for boating and aviation.

Above all, Robert was a dedicated father to his children Robert Leo Golden Jr., Christine Marie Kearn and Jennifer Rae Witt. Robert was also a dedicated Grandfather to his three grandchildren, Thomas Robert Kearn, Robert Leo Golden III, Samantha Nichole Kearn and great-grandfather to Tommy Ann Kearn.

His Wisdom, warmth and humor touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Roberts Legacy is one of faith, love, and joy. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 Southeast Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. A Funeral Mass will be Friday, June 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Lucie Catholic Church, 280 SW Prima Vista Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
