Born in Hartford County, North Carolina, he was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 22 years, moving from Franklin, NC.
Robert served our country in the National Guard.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Howell was an Auto Mechanic.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Howell of Port St. Lucie,FL; son, Robert L. Howell and his wife Suzanne of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Shellie H. Penley and husband Randy of Pfafftown, NC; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Howell of NC.
A Memorial Service will be Monday, January 19, 2015, 2:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL.
