Roberta Joanne Bocko
April 30, 1935 – January 14, 2023

IN THE CARE OF
Aycock Funeral Home
On Saturday, January 14, 2023, Roberta (“Bobbie”) Joanne Leavitt Bocko, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 87 after a long struggle with pulmonary fibrosis.
Bobbie was born on April 30, 1935 in Billerica, Massachusetts. She married her best friend and neighbor since Kindergarten, Frederick Walter Bocko, on October 16, 1955. She was the proud mother of three, Frederick, Jr, Daniel, and Elizabeth, grandmother to 15, and great-grandmother to one. She is survived by her husband Fred as well as her sister Margaret, all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.
More than anything, Bobbie cherished her family (and the color purple). She was also a loyal and devoted friend to many. A gifted poet and letter-writer, she enjoyed staying in daily communications with family and friends alike through her thoughtful Grandpad emails.
Bobbie’s Catholic faith was extremely important to her and she frequently prayed for the intercession of St. Jude. She was well known for her generous heart and enjoyed giving gifts. She was especially well known for her love-infused embroidered mementos for those special to her.
A funeral Mass for Bobbie will be held on 02/03/23 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 930 SW Tunis Ave., Port St. Lucie, FL 34953. A reception with light refreshments will follow from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 Southeast Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in person or online at Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. If you choose to contribute, please indicate “In memory of Roberta Bocko for the Capital Campaign” in the memo line of your check or the note area online.
