Romeo A. DeChristofaro, Sr., 92, a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL and a former longtime resident of Niles, OH, departed this life Monday, October 22, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; and is survived by his children, Romeo, Deborah (JD), Patricia (Tom), Gary, and Susan; grandchildren, Nicholas, Julie (Mike) and Erica (Justin); great grandchildren, Ava Marie, Brayden, and Blake; and many other loving family members and friends. Romeo was a veteran of the United States Army and later earned his engineering degree from Youngtown State University. He was an avid golfer and bowler, gardener, grill master, and baker, with a specialty for Italian cooking and biscuits. He was also a devout, practicing Catholic and always put his family first.
