Rose Ann M. Schmidt

Rose Ann (nee Beck) Schmidt born October 3, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio died September 25th, 2013. Preceded in death by her parents Julius and Alverta (Schumacher) Beck and her husband Donald E. Schmidt Sr. Survived by brothers Harold Beck (Shirley) and Paul Beck (Pat) and beloved children Judy Heflin (Rod), Donald Schmidt Jr. (Pat), Debbie McLaughlin (Grady) and Todd Schmidt (Tim Corrigan). Beloved grandchildren: Lisa Kaifos (James), Amanda McClish (Michael Werner), Margaret Wingenfeld, Joni Schmidt, Kayla McLaughlin, Michael McLaughlin and Barbie Schmidt; beloved great-grandchildren: Joshua Kaifos, Blake Kaifos, Bailey Werner and Tyler Kaifos; and several nieces and nephews. Rose was a devoted mother and grandmother. She volunteered with many community organizations, most prominently the Ruth Lyons Children's Christmas Fund. She retired from St. Francis / St. George Hospital in Cincinnati in 1998 and continued working with Medassist Inc. (2004 – 2011) in Louisville, Kentucky. Family is planning a private ceremony.
