Stephen A. Maragioglio Sr.

Born in Revere, Mass, he was a resident of Port St. Lucie since January, 2006.

During WWII, Steven served in the US Navy.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Maragioglio was a Repairman and Foreman for Empire Electrical Co. in Medford, Mass for 48 years.

He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.

He was a member of the American Legion, and Sons of Italy. Steve was an avid bowler in both candlepin and ten pin bowling. He was also an avid gardener, and loved Cruise traveling.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Maragioglio of Port St. Lucie, FL; one daughter Ninamarie Maragioglio and husband Paul Hertz of Burke, VA; one son Stephen Maragioglio, Jr. and his partner Timothy Erickson, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL; three grandchildren Joia Hertz of Wheaton, MD, Kellen Hertz and Brielle Hertz of Burke, VA; and one sister, Jennie Hartwell of Saugus, MA.

He was predeceased by two brothers Frank and John Maragioglio; and two sisters, Josephine Kurey, and his twin-sister Nina Maragioglio

Friends and relative may call Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 7:00PM-9:00PM, at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 28, 2011, 10:00AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. Burial will be in South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
