Born in Lynn, MA, Stephen was a resident of Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie for over 25 years.
Mr. Shortridge was a Truck Driver. Stephen has been an umpre for the area Little League for 15 years, and for the past 6 years, he umpired, coached and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Southwest Port St. Lucie Little League and District 17.
He was associated with the American Little League since 1995.
Survivors include two sons and many friends and acquaintances.
A Gathering will be Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 6-7PM at the Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, FL, with a memorial Service following at 7PM.
