Steven D Serynek

Steve was born on April 28, 1954 in Mineola, New York to the late Conrad and Rosemarie Serynek (Sluga). He relocated to Stuart, Florida in 1972 before settling in Port St. Lucie in 1979. Steve worked as a Building Inspector for St. Lucie and Martin County School Districts. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating and fishing. Steve was known to be a jokester and would converse with anybody willing to have a conversation with him. Most cherished to Steven was the time he spent with his family.

Steven was preceded in death by his brother, Keogh Serynek.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Barbara Serynek; sons, Matt Serynek (Julia), of Tampa, Florida and Nick Serynek (Micki Cunningham), of Port St. Lucie, Florida; daughters, Stephanie Taube (Darren), of Jupiter, Florida and April Wright (Jonathan), of Port St. Lucie; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Richard Serynek, of New York and Michael Serynek, of Stuart; and sisters, Susan Zaccheo, of Stuart and Patricia Serynek, of Stuart.

A Celebration of Steven's Life will take place on Saturday June 29, 2019 from 10am-12pm at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983.
