Tara A. Gouin passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 in Stuart, Florida with her beloved daughter by her side, she was 66. She was the loving mother of Wendi (Derome) Sobon and grandmother of Matthew and Kathryn, of Port St. Lucie, FL. She is also survived by her mother, Doris (Boudreau) Wilkinson of Hooksett, NH, sisters Teri Gray (David) of Derry, NH, Tina Dutton (Jeff) of Manchester, NH, and Julie Wilson of Rochester, NH, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Paul J. Gouin, and her father, Walter O. Wilkinson.

She was born on April 24, 1954 and raised in Manchester, NH. She attended Manchester Central High School and graduated in 1972. She moved to Florida in 1979 and spent many years as a legal secretary working for a law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Later in life, she decided to make a career change and became a medical transcriptionist, a profession she enjoyed until her retirement.

She enjoyed playing word games and crocheting, and loved making homemade gifts for special occasions of those she loved. What she loved most of all was being “Memere” to Matthew and Kathryn, always present for graduations, first communions, school awards, and all other important milestones. Her family was her pride and joy and there are no words to express how much she was loved and will be missed.

I'll always have memories of Tara being kind and giving. I loved going to the lake in the summers with my cousins, and swimming out to the large raft! Sharing bar-b-cue's, beans and hot dogs (yuck), and playing in the yard on Hackett Hill until it became dark with my family and my cousin's is a favorite memory!
