Theodore "Teddy" Marko Vdorick
August 4, 1948 – May 9, 2019
Theodore "Ted" M. Vdorick, 70, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on May 9, 2019.
Ted was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Theodore and Marie Vdorick. Ted moved to Florida as a snow bird in 2015 before settling for good in April of 2017. He has been a resident of Kings Isle since relocating from Staten Island, New York to Port St. Lucie. Ted spent many years living in Manhattan working as a Trader on Wall Street. Ted served honorably as a Corporal in The Battle of Khe Sanh in the United States Marine Corp from 1967-1968 during the Vietnam War. In his spare time, Teddy enjoyed horse racing and travelling with the love of his life, Maria, whom he met prior to deploying to Vietnam and has been his best friend and companion for the past 7 years.
Ted is survived by his fiancé, Maria Gagolewski, her children Nicole Block and Steven Gagolewski, and grandchildren, Anna and George Block; daughter, Kristin Vdorick; and sister, Sister Linda Vdorick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday May 15, 2019 at 11 am at St. Lucie Catholic Church, 425 SW Irving Street Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983. Committal with Military Honors will follow at 1:45 pm at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
