Thomas P Brett

Born in Boston, MA, he lived in Port St. Lucie for 16 years coming from Maryland and the Washington, DC metro area. Prior to that, he lived in St. Louis, MO and Schenectady, NY.

He was a Trust Officer at Seacoast Bank in Stuart, FL. He was also worked as a Trust Officer and in Private Asset Management for 27 years for various banks.

Mr. Brett was a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War. He volunteered for many youth and children programs, in particular, Guardian Ad Litem for St. Lucie County. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Port St. Lucie, FL.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Annette; daughter Courtney Brett of Raleigh, NC; son, Peter Brett of Port St. Lucie, FL; and brothers, John Brett of Pottsboro, TX, and Michael Brett of Northford, CT.

A memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Port St. Lucie on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 3:00 PM. Reverend Mary Rosendahl will officiate.
