Mr. Vincent Meneo, son of the late Antonio Meneo and Anna Marie DePrisco, was born on November 11, 1935 in Derby, Ct. He was a loving brother to Michael (Roseann) Meneo, Angelina (John) Geriak, and Anthony (Christine) Meneo. He was a resident of Derby for 61 years and was well known in the valley as the owner of Center Service Autobody and Towing. He shared the tricks of the trade with anyone who needed a job and was willing to work hard. He gave chances to those who others would not and was a great mentor to the men who worked in his shop. He spent the last 24 years as a resident of Port St. Lucie, Fl, 21 years of which he was employed at Florida Aero of Palm Beach. He loved to work and held life long friendships with his co-workers. He was well respected at Florida Aero and they treated him like family.
He was united in matrimony to his devoted wife Elizabeth Lange on November 13, 1956. They shared 65 years together and were blessed with 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. His family was both the pride and the joy of his life. He remains theirs.
Mr. Meneo was an avid car lover. Known as Cadillac and T-bird man, he was a member of "Gweeds Gangters" Car Club for many years. He and his family have spent many a memory at a local car show or a holiday at Turkey Rod Run at the Daytona Speedway with "Pop's" cars. When the years started catching up with him he could still be found impeccability cleaning and polishing his antique cars while visiting with friends and neighbors in his community. Often his grandson Michael could be found "cleaning" the cars with him.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children Elizabeth (Robert) Kissiday, Vincent (Debra) Meneo, Michael (Laura) Meneo, and Terry Meneo.
