

Vincenzo "Vincent" Errico of Port St Lucie, FL passed away peacefully on June 5th, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 4th, 1930 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of Assunta and Giovanni Errico.
Vincenzo entered the Navy in 1953 and was deployed on the Aircraft Carrier USS Leyte CV-32 during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged due to injury after an onboard explosion where he was trapped below deck. After his discharge, he went on to own several businesses in the food distribution industry in NJ ultimately retiring in 1992 to Port St Lucie FL.
Vincenzo was a man known for his commitment to St Lucie Catholic Church in Port St Lucie, and the Knights of Columbus Council 7514 serving as Grand Knight for several successful years. He achieved the title of District Deputy for the Knights of Columbus overseeing several councils. Vincenzo was a man known for his quick wit, generous heart, calm wisdom and his love of cookies.
Above all, Vincenzo was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Carol, his children, Vincent and his wife Lena of Fort Pierce FL, Thomas and his wife Lisa of Edison, NJ, and Ann Marie and her fiancé, Michael, of Port St Lucie, FL and his cherished 8 granddaughters, 6 great-grandchildren, his granddog Richie, and his sister Josephine of NJ. He was predeceased by his parents, Assunta and Giovanni, his 5 brothers, Carmine, Cosimo, Gennaro, John and Daniel, and his 3 sisters, Rose, Grace and Ann.
Friends and family can pay their respects Tuesday June 9th 2026 from 4-7pm at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 Southeast Floresta Drive Port St Lucie FL. A funeral Mass will take place Wednesday June 10th 2026 at 11am at St Lucie Catholic Church 425 SW Irving St Port St Lucie FL.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
