It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of our father, William (Bill) Bernard Yedesko Sr., 68, of Port St. Lucie, Florida who died on July 22, 2026. Bill was born January 25, 1958 to the late William and Stasia Yedesko, also of Port St. Lucie, formerly Duryea, PA.
Bill had many hobbies such as hunting and fishing, but his real passion was for anything that had a motor. He was a great mechanic. Bill loved to build or fix anything he could get his hands on. During high school, he joined the Excelsior Hose Co. #2 in Duryea from 1972-1982, where he worked his way up to Fire Chief until he got married and started a family. After graduating from Pittston Area High School in 1975, he began working at Rocky Glen Park in Moosic, PA until the park closed in 1987. He was then hired as shift mechanic at Owens-Illinois, which then became Techneglas Inc. Sunny weather, the beach, and his mother eventually led him to The Sunshine State, where he was employed as a millwright mechanic at Allied Universal Corp. Bill was in charge of the one of the largest chlorine bleach manufacturers on the east coast of Florida.
Bill has been preceded in death by his parents Bill and Stasia Yedesko, his sister Nancy Langford, also of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Duryea, PA. He is survived by his former wife, Missy Mitchell Yedesko of Pittston, PA and children, Kassy Dymond (husband Neil) Shavertown, PA, Mindy Yedesko, Dallas, PA, and triplet sons Billy, Scott, and Matt Yedesko, Port St. Lucie, FL and Pittston, PA. He will forever be remembered by all of his surviving family members, both near and far.
