Allen Emery Bradeen Sr.

GORHAM- Mr. Allen Emery Bradeen, 73, passed away on Monday August 17th, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, with his family at his side. He was born in Gray, Maine on March 3rd 1947, The oldest son of Clayton and Beverly Bradeen. He lived in Windham most of his childhood. His family then built their house in Sebago Lake, Maine.

He attended Bonny Eagle. He then enlisted in the US Army, he was stationed in Germany. Allen's Career spanned from being a chef at Sportsman's grill to other local restaurants, to working at the Mercy Hospital in the Plant and Engineering dept. He met the love of his life Gloria, while attending Bonny Eagle. When he returned home from the Army, they were married on February 3rd 1968.

They started their family shortly after. Several years later they moved to Gorham and built their dream home on Nicole's way. Besides the love he had for his family, he had a love for raising animals and showing them off at local Fairs, and 4H clubs. He had his own family business, "Bradeen's Rabbitry" where he had over 200 rabbits.

Allen was a long time member of the Sebago Lake Congregational church, where he was a Sunday school teacher. Allen was predeceased by his Father and Mother and Grand daughter Nicole.

He is survived by his wife Gloria, his daughter Michelle and her husband Earl, his daughter Melinda and her husband Kevin, his son Allen Jr, and his wife Amy, a son Kevin and Jayson and Adam and his wife Naomi, He has 13 grandchildren Stephanie, Travis, Christian, Callie, Sebastian, Gaten, Crystal, Alexis, Hailey, Sofia, Kelsie, Brayden and Trinity and 3 great grandchildren, Aria, Calvin and Ciara. He is also survived by his siblings Anita, Gordon, Mark and Peggy and their children, And Lila Perry his aunt. He will be forever missed by us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11 am at the Dow Cemetery, Cape Road Standish, ME.

A celebration of life will be at a later date at his home where he enjoyed spending his life the most, with his family and animals.
