Bonnie L Doughty of New Gloucester passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home on July 27, 2022.
Bonnie was born on March 29, 1962 in Portland ME to Dale A and Eleanor Williams. Bonnie was a long time school bus driver for the Windham school department, she loved being able to interact with the kids day in and day out. Bonnie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and so much more, her hobbies included gardening, yard saling with her sisters and crocheting but what she really loved was spending time with her family, her husband kids and grandkids were her life.
Bonnie was survived by her husband of 46 years Albert (Tinker) Doughty JR, her sons Albert Doughty III and his wife Amanda of New Gloucester and Joshua Doughty of Poland. Her grandchildren Haley, Albert IV, Jayden, Lillian and Cecilia. Sisters Peggy Theriault of Standish, Diana Williams of Buxton, Deanna and husband John Cunningham of Standish, and Eleanor Williams and fiance Michael Chase of Windham, her brothers Rick and wife Sheila Williams of Florida, Dale R. and wife Kelly Williams of Windham, Henry Williams of Jay and half brother Dale A. and wife Mary Williams of Connecticut, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and her long time best friend Sandra Hume of Canada. Bonnie was predeceased by her mother Eleanor Williams, her father Dale A Williams and brother in law Jim Theriault.
Bonnie was loved and will be missed by everyone that knew her.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice of Southern Maine, Jeanne and Leslie for the amazing care they provided.
A celebration of life will be held on August 20th at Al and Amanda's home in New Gloucester.
