Carol Ann Gaudreault

Carol Ann Gaudreault, 91, of Conway, NH passed away on September 5, 2026, in Kennebunk, Maine. She was born in South Berwick, Maine on March 12, 1935, the daughter of Delphine Couture and Ludger Michaud. She was predeceased by her husband, John Gaudreault, also of South Berwick in 2009.

Carol and John married in 1956 and moved to Conway, raising two children, Brad and Janel. There they founded and operated Arrow Woodworking - a cabinet design and distribution business based on Hobbs Street for 24 years. Along the way in 1961, Carol also earned her LPN license.

Carol was self-assured, kind, and generous with her time - nurturing a vibrant neighborhood community both on River St. In Conway, and ‘up at camp’ on Big Diamond Pond. She was a watchful and caring provider, coordinating swim lessons, gardening, and pool parties for her people - and generations of beloved family dogs. After retirement, Carol and John spent 20 years in Florida, primarily in The Villages, where they led an active social life.

Carol was a talented and creative artisan who worked in ceramics, sewing, and painting, as well as lampshade and doll making. She was also a master documenter - writing handwritten notes and labels on many keepsakes and carefully recording her family's genealogy. She was an early advocate of natural ‘whole’ foods long before the trends, routinely experimenting with rice and barley flours, while creatively sidestepping processed foods and sugar.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and especially grandmother to each of her four grandchildren; Nikki Woodhams, Benjamin Gaudreault, James Gaudreault, and Sullivan Gaudreault. She is survived by her two children, Janel King of Silver Lake, Bradley Gaudreault and spouse Ginny Nossiff of Center Conway, a sister, Dorothy Anderson of South Berwick, goddaughter Carol Anderson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

Services will be private at the convenience of her family.
