Chandler was born in Portland, Maine on October 18, 1997 to Robert and Shari Langlois; he was the third child of four wonderful boys. He graduated from Scarborough High School and was attending the University of Maine, Orono pursuing a double major in Accounting and Finance.
Chandler had that unique ability to excel at any sport that he tried. He was particularly fond of golf, ultimate Frisbee, pickleball, ping pong and basketball. If you were playing a sport with him he would go out of his way to retrieve the ball for you so you didn’t have to bend down to pick it up. His dad had a deal with Chandler that he would pay for all of Chandler’s golf if Chandler would give him free golf lessons; Chandler still owes his dad those golf lessons, and he will be looking for and needing those lessons every time he plays. He touched many lives and had many friends. He was proud to be a brother of Delta Tau Delta at the University of Maine, and we are grateful for the support those brothers provided during his sickness. He was a very positive, upbeat person with a wonderful sense of humor and personality, and he was always so kind and appreciative of everyone and everything. He would never just say “Thank You”, instead he always said “Thank You So Much”.
He is survived by his parents Robert and Shari of Scarborough, his brother Christian and his girlfriend Brooke of Gray, his brothers Cameron and Connor of Scarborough, his great-grandmother Eloise Rodrigue of Stuart, Fl, his grandparents Robert and Jaclyn Langlois of Stuart, FL, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on March 10, 2018 at St. Maximilian Kolbe, 150 Black Point Road, Scarborough Maine.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that any donations are made to the scholarship fund established in Chandlers name at http://www.GoFundMe.com/ChandlerLangloisScholarshipFund
