Cynthia Jean Cummings

November 2, 1955 – June 28, 2026

Cynthia Jean Cummings, lovingly known as “CeeCee” to her grandchildren, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Born on November 2, 1955, in Portland, Maine, to June Martin and Clyde Fogg, Cindy was known for her quiet strength, generous heart, and deep devotion to her family. Her greatest joy came from the time she shared with those she loved most.

She is survived by her fiancée, Wayne Adams; her son, Brian Cummings Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Nicole Cummings; and her beloved grandchildren, Noah, Killian, Elliot, Phoebe, and Thea, who knew her as their treasured “CeeCee.” She is also survived by her siblings, Robert Martin, David Martin, Dianne Moran, Valerie Dunbar, and Jody Martin, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, June Martin and Clyde Fogg; her brothers, Joey Martin, Albert Martin, Wayne Martin, Carl Fogg, and Clyde Martin; and her sister, Marie Ross.

Cindy’s love, compassion, and gentle spirit will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at a later date. The family extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered love, prayers, and support throughout her illness.
