He was born in St. John's Canada.
David graduated from Billerica, MA in 1977;" Gilly" loved living by the beach in OOB and working on the pier. He loved his family and enjoyed hanging with his friends and being silly. His favorite saying was "because I can" and he did. He was a hard worker. He enjoyed dancing and gambling at the casino. He also loved the Patriots and Bruins.
He touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his close brothers Paul Gilmour of OOB, Darren Gilmour of Standish, his daughters Amy Belanger her partner Ryan Dawes of Solon, Michelle Belanger of Livermore Falls and Jade Sturgeon of Portland. He is also survived by those who knew him as "Grampa Gilly" Isabella, Liliana, Connor, Jase and Everleigh. He is predeceased by his loving parents Robert J. Gilmour and Doris M. Gilmour.
There will be a celebration of life on January 15th at 1pm at the Whaler in Old Orchard Beach.
