To us he was Dad and Papa, but you probably knew him as Denny. Denny was born and raised in Westbrook, Maine to Janet and Fred Lampron. The 1950’s in Westbrook made for a wonderful and mischievous childhood for Denny and his big brother Dick Lampron. As a young man the US Navy and The USS Randolph took Denny all over the world. All of that changed in 1967 when he met and married the love of his life, Donna Vance, better known as The Best Mom in the World.
Denny and Donna moved to Ormond Beach, Florida where Dad went to Embry Riddle. After school Dad started what would be a 30-year career with Xerox. That’s when they started working on building a loving family. Mark came first and made an early career of terrorizing his younger sister Stacie. Stacie grew up to give Denny and Donna the most amazing three grandchildren in the universe!
After Denny retired from Xerox, he purchased for the family a swimming pool supply store named Pinch A Penny. The family has run the store lovingly for the past 13 ½ years. We sadly lost Donna April 23rd, 2018 and life wasn’t the same for Denny. Dennis K Lampron passed peacefully at his beloved camp in Standish, Maine on Mom and Dad’s 52nd wedding Anniversary. We are eternally grateful to Mike and Phil Lampron, his nephews, for giving him an amazing last day.
Denny will be painfully missed by many who loved him. He leaves behind: His son Mark Lampron and Mark’s girlfriend Jessica; Stacie Pedigo and her family, Billy, Angel, Madisyn, and Liam; Donna’s brother, Maynard Vance and his girlfriend Dora Heath; Bob and Peggy Bouthiet; Nieces and Nephews, Debbie, Mike, Katie, and Phil along with their families; and many more family and loved ones that Denny and Donna have loved throughout the years.
The family is holding a small memorial on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at North Congressional Church UCC at 22 Church Hill Road, Buxton, Maine 04098 at 3:00 pm. We invite everyone to join us afterwards at the church for refreshments.
