On Saturday, November 26, Frederick L. Redden Sr., beloved father and grandfather, passed away. He was eighty-seven years old and was reunited with his beloved wives Patricia who passed in 1976 and Susan who passed in 2017. Born in Kingston, Ontario to Muriel and Walter Redden, he graduated from the Royal Military College and Queens University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He went on to travel the world, living in Aruba, Italy, England, Bermuda, and the US.
Early in life he developed a love of aviation and earned his private pilot license while still very young. He eventually became a flight instructor while living in Aruba and continued flying for many years. Even after he couldn't fly anymore, he'd spend hours reading articles and books about flying. He was also fond of fishing, stamp collecting, and Yorkshire Terriers.
He is survived by his three children, Kevin, Bronya, and Daniella, his two grandchildren, Kennedy and Olivia, and siblings Carol and Doug.
A memorial service will be held in June, 2023 in Kingston, Ontario.
