Portland, ME - Gwendolyn M. Davis, 90 of Scarborough-- Gwendolyn died on Friday Oct. 8th 2021 at Cedars Nursing Home in Portland, ME.

Gwen was born on Sept. 10th 1931 to Dr. Paul l. Davis sr. and Alice Reed Davis. Gwen grew up and attended schools in South Portland and was the Vice President of her of class in 1950 at South Portland High. After high school she moved to Boston, MA to enroll at Fisher Junior College graduating in 1952.

After returning home she started her career at the US Postal Office, where she worked for 30+ years. In 1991, Gwen retired and spent her time with her family and her many friends. Along with countless road trips, cruises and other adventures. Gwen loved traveling and seeing the world, always wanting to live her life to the fullest. Gwen had the sweetest heart this world has ever seen, she always knew had to put a smile on your face. The loved she gave to her family and friends will be forever miss but never forgotten.

Gwen was predeceased by her brothers Paul I. Davis, Jr., David H. Davis, Richard A. Davis, and Reed W. Davis, as well as her sisters Patricia Davis Bryce, Nancy Ann Davis Chadbourne, Judith Davis Morin and Lorraine Davis Jackman. Along with her daughter Susan Richmond. She is survived by her sons William and his wife Gabriella Sargent of Scarborough, Paul Sargent of Monmouth, and Robert (Bobby) Sargent of South Portland. Along with her grandchildren Eliza Richmond of Portland, Tyler and his wife Michelle Richmond of Chester, NH, Allison And her husband Travis Bradshaw of Helena, MT, Justin Sargent of Monmouth and Bryan Sargent and his fiancée Ciara Landry of Scarborough. As well as her 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
